The Ormonde Court project is a meticulous restoration and redesign of a first-floor apartment located in a Victorian white stucco building in Belsize Park, London. Initially poorly configured and stripped of its original charm due to years of neglect and misguided refurbishment, the apartment's main living and dining area once exuded grandeur typical of its Victorian heritage.

Built functional cupboards

To recapture this essence of luxury, the restoration focused on reintegrating original features such as mouldings, wall paneling, and architectural elements.

A reclaimed French fireplace, chosen for its period authenticity, adds an international touch, complemented by carefully selected furnishings including a sofa designed by Piero Lissoni.

Reclaimed

A French reclaimed fireplace has been introduced, sourced through a targeted search across reclaimed shops and architectural salvage dealers.

Palette

A bright colour palette is created using a white-washed, herringbone oak floor and a very light grey real quartzite stone for the kitchen island and worktop.
