We were commissioned to develop a feasibility study for a house entirely built underground in one of the prime locations in Belsize Park. The design revolves around two large courtyards that act as outdoor spaces, filled with vegetation, providing natural light, ventilation, and a connection to nature for all rooms.

One courtyard serves the living areas, which include a swimming pool and a spacious dining area, creating a serene and private environment for social and leisure activities. The second courtyard serves the bedrooms, offering light, air, and visual relief while maintaining privacy. This approach allows the house to integrate seamlessly with its surroundings, while maximizing the experience of outdoor space in a fully subterranean context.
