St Johns Wood terrace
Brief
The project involves a full refurbishment of a Victorian detached house in the heart of St John’s Wood, London. The objective was to retain the historical character of the property while adding new floor space to create a more comfortable home adapted to contemporary living standards.
New Additions
A new rear extension allows the creation of an open-plan kitchen and dining area, featuring a glass corner that opens seamlessly onto the garden. Particular attention has been given to the external landscaping, carefully mitigating the differences in levels between the new kitchen and the outdoor space
New Basement
Additionally, a new basement level has been introduced, accommodating two new bedrooms, a gym, and a utility room, enhancing the functionality of the house without compromising its historic character.
