Lawn Road Project is an interior architecture refurbishment of a 400 sqm private residence in Belsize Park. The brief was to create a luxurious yet warm interior atmosphere within the expansive living space, which opens fully onto the beautifully landscaped rear garden through a fully glazed elevation.
The design focuses on a carefully curated palette of warm, natural materials. Travertine stone and natural limestone flooring provide a timeless and tactile base, while bespoke wood panelling introduces depth, texture, and a sense of intimacy at scale. Integrated within the joinery, a custom TV unit is combined with exposed glass display elements, allowing artworks and personal photographs to be subtly showcased, reinforcing the connection between architecture, art, and the client’s personal narrative.
The result is a refined, calm, and welcoming living environment that balances generosity of space with material warmth and domestic comfort.
Way of living
The kitchen space follows the same material palette as the living area, combining travertine stone with a stainless steel worktop finished in a refined champagne tone. This contrast between natural stone and metallic surfaces creates a sophisticated yet understated elegance, reinforcing the continuity between spaces.
A curated selection of refined furniture pieces from Cassina and Living Divani, together with a number of bespoke-designed elements, adds character and individuality throughout the house. These carefully chosen pieces elevate each room, lending a sense of unique elegance while maintaining a cohesive and timeless interior language.
