Replacement of existing rear and side extensions and full reconfiguration of a 20th century semidetached house in Belsize park, North London.
The project is based on the idea of stretching the spaces to their limits, highlighting the full dimensions in all the directions, generating long perspectives and controlled focal points.
The house becomes part of the natural environment in which it’s set, with the help of thin-framed sliding glass doors.
The interior design project focuses on a neutral colour palette given by the use of natural wood floor and wooden panelling on the walls. This goes along with the client’s desire of having antique African artworks and Persian carpets. Each item is carefully chosen amongst a variety of luxurious design brands , combining ethnic vibes with a sleek and modern design.
